Just a note.  We need to test our tools with Maya's new Animation Layer's  and new tools intorduced into Maya 2009 to see if things have been broken (or fixed depending on how you look at it).  We need to "wrap our heads around it" a little more.  My thinking right now is it SHOULD work as expected and be just fine with the recent additions to the Maya toolset but we have to look into it more.   More news to come as we progress.  Right now we're still "looking into things".

For now our official system requirements stands as is and Maya 2009 is not supported (yet).

Just a note.  The NEXT update to version 1.x (release date not yet determined) will be the last update to tradigiTOOLS version 1.x.  We will be addressing MINOR issues and adding BETA support for Autodesk's Maya 2009.  Afterward, we will be concentrating on tradigiTOOLS version 2 which will add new tools and functions and improve on the tools we already have.

We are also looking into creating tradigiTOOLS for other CG application as well as developing more tools to aid in the animation production pipelines.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Hey Dimos,

How's it going? Any progress on the Maya 2009 update? My withdrawal symptoms are getting worse.
Oh, and by the way, the weather here in DC hasn't been anything to brag about this winter so I haven't been taunting you with it.

Cheers,

jeff

HA!  The weather here is terrible so you can still probably gloat over how much better it is there.  ;-)  Nice to hear from ya again.

We actually have a working BETA for MacOSX now however we need to test it a little more so.  Then we need to port all this over for our Windows customers.  Just a little more time, is all we need.  We've been swamped with other obligations and time is limited.  We are doing our best and moving as fast as possible.  We're actually a little ahead of where we thought we would be now so that is promising.  Just hang in there.

Cheers!

Hey Dimos! Can't wait for the version! Maya2009 with animation-layers is just soooo handy! So would be
great to add your awesomeness to the layer-awesomeness to get a super-awesomeness! Hahahaa ... I mean it! If you might need beta-testers for the window-version please feel free to take me on board!

Keep pushing!

Groovy Dimos,

I've actually found a couple of scripts that when combined kinda sorta almost but not quite do some of the same things as tradigi but it's a klunky workflow I've got going on. Better than nothing but I yearn for real thing.

So I'm looking forward to the goods.

Oh, and it was about 20 C here today.

Cheers,

jeff

We've had a decent 1 to 8 C weekend so far which is great for this time of year up here.  Especially with all the recent snow and below freezing weather we've had to date.  Just thought you would like to know.  ;-)

We are working on an update.  Free to previously paid up customers, of course.  I believe the MacOSX version is JUST about ready which means the PC stuff should be fine to go as soon as we get our team on the Windows side up to speed.

We'll make an announcement to the registered users of the FUNhouse Interactive Forums and post a NEWS item on our main page.  Just hang tight.

We need to spend more time on the NEW version of tradigiTOOLS and an NEW tool that will kick major booty!  Especially in combination with tradigiTOOLS!  ;-)

Cheers!

Not yet.  We are still on it though.  Lots of things to sort through.  New ideas and whatnot.  The UPDATE should be coming soon though, seeing if everything goes as planned.  The NEW version with added tools and functions will take longer.  Also keep your eyes and ears open for a brand spanking new tool HOPEFULLY to be released end of this year (or sooner).

How's that for mystery?  Lips sealed

Cheers!
