Greeting,

We are presently researching and developing more products to assist in the animation process.  We are currently conducting a poll to see where interests lie in further development of the tradigiTOOLS product line (and/or other tools) for other CG applications.  Please visit and vote in this discussion's poll, on which CG application you would like to see us concentrate on in the future.  If it is not selected PLEASE feel free to post up a request.  This poll will be active for 21 days.  Please assist us to make tradigiTOOLS the choice for all CG animators.  We need your help!

Your participation and input is important to us.

Thank you!

so my "other" vote is for Messiah.

i know, i know.....not the biggest fish in the pond.

Dimos i know you worked on Andy's a bit, and I was there to finish up the first ep.  it seems big things might happen pretty soon with the concept, and that would mean working alot in messiah.  would love to keep my same workflow i have with TDT in maya, if and when all this happens...hehehe.  so i gave a selfish vote for "other".

I'm only a Maya user these days but I could see where it would be a great tool for Softimage and Max.

I don't know if there is a forum thread for suggestions...but I'd love to see an IKFK Matcher built into a future tradigiTOOLS update.  A simple script that would allow the user to match an arm or leg perfectly from IK to FK or the reverse...instead of having to eyeball it to match it up.  That would rock!!!

Kiel has one on his site but for the life of me I can't seem to figure it out and it would be sweet to have it combined into tradigiTOOLS.

It would be nice to see the following addition to "trdigiTools":

 1) PoseLIb( A script to record poses for your characters.)

 2) IKFK switch( as Jay mentioned /
Allows you to align your IK Controls to your FK Joints/Controls and vice versa, through an interface, instead of eye balling it.)

 3) GreasePencil or China Marker (Sketch in Maya camera view on multiple frames)

 4)   copyPasteSelectedAttributes - Copy/Paste's values from selected channels in the Channelbox. With this scripts you can copy values from all selected channels. And paste it to another object if needed. That will copy all selected attribute channel values from object A to B )

Hey gang,

Thanks for the input on tools and such.  We are currently researching and developing other tools that MAY or MAY not have what your are looking for but that's all I can say about that for now.  This discussion and poll is meant to discuss the next possible CG application to support and not so much about what tool should be added.  The "OTHER" category is meant for other applications to support that are not listed (such as Project:Messiah, Lightwave etc).

We'll get to new tools in another discussion later.

Thanks again for your help and understanding.

Cheers!

a pose library would be AWESOME.

And while not listed here..... um.. Lightwave. WE still use it for spaceships and stuff.
