Camera switching

Hi,
I use the
Swap Persp/ShotCam
button all the time when I work, but now that I'm into really fine polishing, I also use a faceCam so I can get a better idea of what the elements on the face are actually doing. But I'm always animating to the camera shot, so I switch back and forth a ton! Unfortunately I can only define one camera at a time for the switch, so I find myself doing a lot of extra clicking.
I see an opportunity to expand the tool to a more general use by allowing users to define more than one camera. For example,
persp
is the default, and then I can add
shotCam
as well as
faceCam
, and the switch button would cycle between all three (or four, or however many) cameras.
Feasible? Impossible? Anyone else use more than 2 cameras? Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyway, thanks for your time. tradigiTOOLS was very helpful during blocking and although I use it less during the polish stage, I can't wait to use it more when I start another shot.

Great post and suggestion. Thanks.
We have talked about this within the team in the past and it is something that can be added. It may be a while but there's definitely a good possibility to add those extra controls in future releases.
For the record, tradigiTOOLS is better suited to work in the blocking stages however I myself use it through the WHOLE process. It can be used but the Graph Editor is a pretty powerful tool for fine tuning stuff. tradigiTOOLS just helps streamiline everything up to that point as best as possible. We have some ideas for GE tool additions or "replacements" but that will probably be a long while off.
Thanks for your input. Much appreciated!
