Hi,

I just bought a new version of tradigiTOOLS for my new Mac and I can't seem to get it to load with Maya 2008.  I'm running a MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.4.  I was sent a license file through e-mail, but it doesn't seem to recognize it.  Here is the error message I get:

//Error: tradigiTOOLS: A valid license was not found //
//Error: initializePlugin function failded (tradigiTOOLS_Maya2008) //

Any ideas?  Thanks.

Hey Josh,

We replied to your email.  We sent you a copy of your license again JUST in case there was some hiccup in the delivery (which is unlikely but possible).

We noticed you had purchased a windows license a while ago.  Make sure you are NOT using that license file in the MacOSX directory.  That wont work.  Use your NEW MacOSX license.

Let us know what happens.

Hi Dimos,

Thank you.  It's up and running now.  I had to use the new license file you sent me though.  I must have done something wrong, because the Mac OS now sees it as a .exec which it didn't before.  Instead, it appeared as a regular looking document.  Weird?

Anyways, in case you'd like to know, if someone is asking about this you can ask them if it looks like an exec.  This looks very specific on a Mac, and if it doesn't then it will mean that they did something to make the file un-useable.

Thanks for getting me up and running.  Now off to practice and have some FUN!!!    Cheesy

Thanks Dimos!  I definately will!  It's going to be terrific, and I can't wait for the tips and tricks DVD I was reading about on your forum.  That's so cool you're putting that together!

To you and your team...have a wonderful holiday season.   Wink

Ta-ta for now,

Thank you for your holiday wishes.  Right back at ya.

Unfortunately that DVD series is probably going to take a LITTLE longer. Our team has been so BUSY with other things (and we are a VERY SMALL TEAM) that we had to push that to the back burner for a little while longer.  I think we will start SOMETHING significant within or after the 1st quarter of the new year.  I really want to put this DVD out soon but things just "get in the way".  It WILL COME though.  Stay tuned.
